Luke was in the Patriot News Harrisburg newspaper, Tuesday October 27th, 2009.
The photographer was snapping away at him while we were at the parade and I think it turned out to be such a cute picture with his friends and Dave in the background. He isn't smiling but it is just such a Luke shot and the best part was when I read the caption to him all he could say angrily was "I not a dinosaur, I. Am. A. Crocodile!!"
What a diva... all of the fame is getting to him.

Halloween Festivities
Halloween in Hershey is a major ordeal. With all of the excess candy in this town it actually makes sense they go all out on Halloween. There are parades in Hershey and all of the small surrounding towns, trick-or-treating at the outlets, library, Hershey gardens and Hershey Park (the amusement park) and they actually make you go (neighborhood) trick-or-treating on the Thursday before Halloween for some reason. All I can say about all of these festivities is that Luke was in heaven!
Hummelstown Parade- where we live. It is about a 5 second drive from Hershey.Witches marching down Main Street
Halloween party at the McIntyre's- Luke and Annie
Trying to get a picture of all the kids- missing Tate the astronaut, Benji the skeleton and Hazel the Tootsie Roll. Loving Baby Beau as an alien.
trick-or-treating
All Hershey brand candy... so much Hershey pride.
HersheyPark
Poor little Jackson is crying because Luke is totally squishing him and Luke is just having the time of his life!

Pumpkin patch times 2
We went to the pumpkin patch with some ward friends and then again with the PIM group which stands for partners in medicine or what I think it should really be called PIMPS- partners in medicine at Penn State.
Pumpkin Patch round 1Not really sure why Luke was hating life this day. Maybe because it was freezing but at least he is kind of smiling it the next one!
Pumpkin patch round 2Much happier and warmer this time.

Happy Birthday Dave!
All that Dave wanted for his big 30th birthday was to go to a Penn State game. So he found some tickets on craigslist and we drove up to State College for a fun game the weekend before his birthday.Classic Luke. He just kind of shuts down when it is really loud and rowdy and will just fall asleep. I find it really odd that he can fall asleep at places like this but doesn't sleep in places like his own bed!
The besties.
It is definitely fall
On Dave's real b-day we went out to dinner at a cute little place called the Hershey Pantry. Luke fell asleep on the way over and stayed asleep (again) at the restaurant so it felt like a real date!

Happy Birthday Luke!
Luke turned 3 on Friday and had the "best birbday" according to him. All day he kept asking me if it was still his birbday and all that he wanted (besides that $50 Buzz Lightyear, that we definitely did not get him) was for his friends to come over for a Dumbo's Circus party.Showing off his new crocodile boots and making some very interesting faces!
The Dumbo's Circus party.
The kids playing the Elefun game.
Pin the feather on Dumbo's trunk.
Dave drew the picture of Dumbo for the party one night while I was at Young Womens and was super proud of it. The next day Luke kept commenting on how "perfect" the hat looked... I am thinking that Dave was boasting about that one to him.
Luke with his cute buddies. Max, Samuel, Ashton and Tate.Pinata time.
Ashton was the only one smart enough to stay with the goodies!
This was Luke's excited/kind of embarrassed face that he made every time someone sang Happy Birthday to him.
I especially like Linsy and her Mom's cute faces in the background. Note to self: learn how to frost a cake!
I made one of those rainbow cakes and I have to say it was so fun to make. It made me so happy and icing tints were the key to the bright colors. I would make it again any day, except now that I think about it Luke didn't even eat one bite of the actual cake!
Max, Annie (Luke's crush), Luke and Benji. Thanks to all of our friends for coming, it made him soooo happy and thanks for taking the pics Leslie.
For some reason later that night we ended up at the Olive Garden. We were planning on going to Hershey Park in the Dark to go on the rollercoasters and go trick-or treating but it was rained out so we ended up here instead.
Luke kept making a weird Popeye face when the Olive people sang to him and I never knew that they give you a huge, yummy cake for your b-day!Then we went home and opened some more presents.
Luke on his very first birthday. Everything about the day of his birth was perfect. It was the best day of my life and I am kind of mad at him because I told him to not get big! I love the burrito baby.
But he is so fun big too. Luke, not that you can read, but you are such a sweet boy and you make our lives so much happier. You are such my little buddy and I love everything about you!!
