The blogging strike is OVER!

(Warning- this is so long )I don't know why but I have been so anti-blog lately! I guess we have been busy or something but I have had no love for the blogland. But it is time for some updates... where to begin? The craziness started after the camping trip. Luke had a 3 week long sickness! Poor guy. He had AWFUL diarrhea for 3 weeks. He couldn't sleep, he would be up for the day at 4am and he wasn't napping or eating. After 2 weeks we went to the doctor and he said there was a nasty bug going around but since it wasn't going away plus he had been camping he said we needed to do an O and P. A what, I said. Dave knew right away when I came home to tell him but it is a stool sample test to check for parasites. This was where the fun began. This was a fun Mother's Day gift. We had to scoop up not one, not two but seven samples over the next few days!! You know you love your child when you can do these sort of stunts! Oh, I forgot that Dave and I got so sick too! At exactly 3:53 am one morning I was collecting a nice stool sample on top of being extremely nauseous from the flu! Surprisingly no vomitting occured. Anyway, one week later he started getting better and no parasites. It makes me appreciate being healthy so much and it is so nice not to have to wash his crib sheet, blankets, clothes, mattress pad, etc. 3 times a day! It was really sad at 4 am when we would have to stick him in the bath each morning after the nightly diaper explosions looking at us with those big sad eyes! But he is better and we are trying to fatten him up with lots of bacon and popcorn!!
This past week has been filled with some fun FIRSTS for Lukey boy. They include:
First swimming lessons with his friend Jamie
Tennis lessons given by his dad and (not pictured) his first movie.

Just kickin' it and doing a few arts and crafts
Luke has found a new interest in his baby doll after his new cousin was born. He likes to wrap his baby up in blanket and feed it a ba ba. I caught him slathering vaseline on the baby the other day!

Two new family members have arrived! Baby Henry Owen and Baby Max Mortensen
I haven't asked permission for posting a pic of Henry yet though. Here are the kids on the way to the hospital to see the new baby Max!

Max is 4 weeks old now so I must get an updated photo but he is so sweet. He looks just like Sam and he is super long with lots of dark hair. It is hard to get pics of him because he is either asleep in his carseat or tucked in the hooter hider at all times!

Mother's Day. My mom came out to come help out and see Max.
Here is "reisty" Alex as he would say. Alex wanted to pop up on our blog to make Addie mad! Alex is Addie's brother and he just moved here to start his surgical residency. He stayed with us for a night and we went to a D-backs game and a little Cabela shopping. Luke always like a good baseball game and he found heaven on earth when he bit into his first piece of licorice!

Cabela's has a little aquarium and animals all over. It is down the street and it is something to do to get out of the 100 degree weather.

This weeks agenda: My Grandma leaves after being here fun filled week, more swimming lessons, and Dave's brother Danny comes in town!
