The time has come...

Yes, it is time to join the world of blogging. After much resistance I decided to be a nice mom and finally show our family and friends some pics of Luke and what we do here in AZ. I am warning you that I will not be a good blogger since I hate being on the computer but I will do my best. I don't have enough time or the attention span to be on the computer. I don't understand how people do it! Checking e-mails for me is such a chore and Dave always ends up looking up my e-mails and telling me if there is anything good. My secret plan is to start this and have Dave be the one to keep it updated! P.S. Addie, don't disown us for having a blog!!

Birthday Week!

Luke and Dave had the best birthday week ever! We went to the train park for Luke's B-day and had his favorite spaghetti and meatballs for dinner (he ate 4 balls)! On Dave's B-day he got home early from the hospital so we went to the state fair all day and Saturday we had a Halloween/ Birthday party for them and had our friends over.

Train Park

October 16th

The yummy cupcakes that Amy made for Luke's B-day. I think that he liked it!

The cute cousins. Luke, Sam and Ella.
Here is the fun train that we went on. The girls are looking good in this picture!

Luke fell asleep before we even got out of the parking lot. He had a big day!

State Fair

October 19th Luke loved all of the animals.
It was in the 90's this day and we were dying of heat but of course everyone else is wearing pants.

The Big B-day Bash!

October 20th The birthday boys! Luke is a Utah basketball player (of course) and Dave is Dr. 90210 with the cut off sleeves and the plastic surgery pamphlets! Creepy!

Little Ute

Oh boy! Not a good picture of me to be found yet!

Luke and his cheerleader girlfriend, Jamie.
Ten cute little kids dressed up and decorating pumpkins.

The pumpkin birthday cake. A little bumpier than I had hoped for. We also had soup, sandwiches, chips and dips, carmel apples, and lots of treats!
Mmmmm.
Mike, Heidi, and little Jamie Mortensen

Sarah and Jack Redd.
Superman Max Mathie.

Opening up a present from the Mortensen's.

The first cuzy's bath. We put the kids in the bath after the party and yes that is a baby bath and yes I still bathe Luke in it! Amy told me that it is time to retire it since he is one now. Ella just thought it was a cool boat and plopped herself right in!
