October 16th-Happy 4th Birthday!

Luke really wanted a birthday party so we had a small pajama party on the morning of his birthday.

Why do I always make the worst looking cakes?
Luke had a great birthday with his buddies. My mom (in the background) came out for the week to be with Luke on his birthday and to babysit while Dave and I went to San Diego (bless her soul). Luke didn't miss us one single bit because he is treated like royalty with Grandma Linda around. They had so much fun and everyday she texted us pics of him scarfing down food at his favorite restaurants. Another new habit that my mom got him into was that Mr. Prince Ali now has to be warmed up after every bath by the blow dryer...from head to toe.
Seriously the best trip ever. We stayed on Coronado and dubbed it "the senior citizen trip" because all we did is relax, eat go to bed at nine and wake up at seven to walk along the beach. We ate so much food, shopped and went to see movies at 4 in the afternoon. Also, we kept loving the overcast weather and we were so excited that it wasn't hot. The best part was that we went for an Anesthesia conference so everything was paid for and Dave only had to work 45 minutes to give his presentation. I recommend a good baby moon for everyone!

October 19th- Happy 31st Birthday to Dave. Enjoying some seafood chowder.

Back in PA my mom took us all out for a belated birthday dinner for Dave. To keep on with traditions Luke fell asleep again for Dave;s birthday dinner.

4th of July

Child Labor...my hero, Luke cleaning the floors. Original floors in a house built in 1940 is so charming, not. They always look dirty and they never come clean.


Enjoying the biggest and best otter pop ever at a baseball game. I have craved one of these every single day since.
We spent some nice, hot days on rides at Hershey Park and floating around in the lazy river.

One of my favorite places. The Anesthesia department has a glorious party here every year.



Park City to celebrate our 8th anniversary. My mom watched Luke and it was our first time the both of us together left him overnight. He is such an easy traveler so there was no reason to ever not take him but this was a nice break at the peak of my morning sickness stage. I made Dave take me out to eat Mexican food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The only thing that tasted good and unfortunately the only thing that you can't get in Pennsylvania!

Danny and Amanda's wedding in SLC.



Dave always claims that he and Danny have a special sort of bond and can read each others minds because they were born exactly two years apart and obviously share the same birthday. Dave just "knew" that Danny and Amanda were going to get married when they were dating. I am so glad that he was right, Amanda is such a fun sis-in-law!

The reception was beautiful and was held at the museum of fine arts on the U campus.
Back in PA... Luke and I hopped on the train and met my dad and family in Philadelphia for the day while they were in town. Luke became super trendy this summer and wouldn't take his Silly Bandz off for three straight months.
